All of these qualifying rounds will be held at the Fundación Unicaja María Cristina Hall. The final will move to the Cervantes Theater to reveal the next winner.
The jury will be chaired by Armenian pianist Sergei Babayan, one of the instrument’s greatest international stars and the star of the opening concert on June 7 at the Cervantes Theater. This same venue will host the grand finale on June 15, with the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Dorian Keilhack accompanying the potential winners. The Gerhard Quartet, one of the most promising quartets in Europe, will perform alongside the semi-finalists on June 13. Likewise, the prestigious French pianist Lucas Debargue will offer an extraordinary concert on June 12 at the Fundación Unicaja María Cristina Hall.
